We arrive as they opened at 10 on Easter Sunday. Great location and great service. Grits , egg sandwich, avocado toast. Finished w a sweet cinnamon roll. A great way to start our day in Oxford

My 5th visit—consistent, excellent service at Good Day Café! Having every little detail of a quick lunch considered has elevated my expectations for dining locally in Oxford. They make the experience feel both personal and welcoming, without sacrificing precision or quality.

The tomato soup was stunning—clearly made with care. The burger was perfectly prepared, as always. And my bottle of birch beer? Who puts thought into chilling a bottle so perfectly that there was just a touch of slush in the neck? A small but delightful detail that really stood out.

Great food, considerate service, and incredible value. Weekly rotation engaged.

The service was fast and friendly. My wife got the grit bowl and enjoyed it. I got the avocado toast. The toast itself was kind of meh, but everything on top was delicious. The chili crisps were a great addition. If the toast was better, the dish would have been a home run. We will definitely be going back.

The best burger I have ever had. That's really all that needs to be said! I will add though that they locally source their beef from a top-notch ranch in Mississippi. They know something about food!

That reuben! Woowee! The meat was piled high, the kraut was tangy, and the sauce had a little kick of heat. I fancy myself a reuben connoisseur, and this one hit it out of the ballpark. The Voodoo chips were a great compliment, as well. The alleyway location with the walk-up window made it feel casual and exclusive at the same time. I would have loved to sit and enjoy my meal there, but the alley is pretty cold because it doesn't get much sunlight, even on an unseasonably warm winter afternoon. There aren't many tables, anyway, but I did find a 2-top open in the Lyric entryway. The service was exceptional. They were genuinely happy to hear how much I enjoyed my lunch, and gave many thank yous for my visit. Can't wait to go back!

1st time in Oxford, MS and this burger was phenomenal! Went with my Brother-in-law got the Avocado Toast and said it was great too! The seating is right outside, with some nice bench seating where you can quickly eat and keep exploring Oxford! The menu is small enough, where the team can focus on quality and if I'm ever in the area, definitely planning on grabbing lunch from here again! ?
