“This place is unassuming from the street, but the food and experience will knock your socks off. The salad with Gyro meat is fantastic. The crunchy edges on the meat are the best! I loved it with the vinaigrette and feta dressings. The grilled pita was so simple but full of flavor. We chose it with feta and I would get it that way again. The picnic tables on the deck outside were the perfect location to enjoy the amazing weather of the day, but they even open the garage doors for the inside, so you couldn't go wrong with any seat there. And if you love to take home plastic cups, their cups are giant and a bright yellow. The kind you want to use over and over again. This will be a top choice whenever I am in Oxford.Parking: Parking available on both sides of the building.“

“Got seated immediately on a busy Saturday evening. No wait! The 3 dip appetizer was a really yummy shareable dish. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when my dinner came out, my fish was cold. Plus the restaurant itself is pretty expensive. Overall a very good option.“

“We absolutely loved this place! We decided on getting a bunch of different appetizers to try a little bit of everything and we were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food along with the lovely ambiance and friendly waitstaff. The place doesn't get too loud either so that's a bonus! You are served fresh, soft, sweet bread with a jam butter and honey butter when you sit down. It's all quite sweet so if you don't like a lot of sweets you might not like this.My favorite dish here is the lamb lollipops appetizers served over their fried tobacco onions. The lamb was tender, juicy, had a little bit of spice and some sweetness to it from the cabernet molasses reduction, which I have to say was absolutely delicious! The tobacco onions were the best fried onions that I have ever had, they were flavorful, perfectly crispy and were addictive. We also loved the fried button mushrooms, it comes with a heaping pile, it could be an entire meal. The mushroom batter was so flavorful and the mushrooms inside were juicy. It is served with a buttermilk ranch was also very good.I tried the hand-cut cheese sticks and they were delicious! They're absolutely massive and you are served 5 sticks with a very light, but tasty, bredding. The marinara was okay and seemed canned, not too much flavor going on with it.We also tried the jumbo lump crab cakes, which were definitely not jumbo lump. The crab cakes were okay, they seemed to have been seasoned with an old bay type spice. There were onions and peppers in the crab cakes and they tasted a bit sour making me wonder if they add lemon to it. These were okay but being from Maryland these definitely missed the mark and were not as described.I also had the bacon wrapped shrimp, you are served 6 shrimp with lightly salted melted butter on the side. These were okay, the bacon is just salt & peppered and it doesn't seem that they did any seasoning on the shrimp so I found it a bit bland. Besides that, the shrimp and the bacon were cooked perfectly. This could be a good dish for someone who wants low sodium.Fried green tomatoes were served under the crab cakes but I did not like them. The breading was very gritty making me think that they are probably breaded with corn meal. The seasoned fries were thin, skin on, kinda greasy and just okay. The fries didn't seem to be seasoned except by a tasteless parmasean? Some fries were soft, and some were tiny and crispy. We didn't really eat many of them. The one dish I do not recommend here, and I did see it in other reviews, is the smoked gouda mac & cheese. It was awful, watery and lacked any flavor whatsoever.I tried the blueberry lemon drop and it was fantastic, I definitely recommend giving it a try if you drink and like lemon and blueberry.Overall I feel like this place is pretty good, their breading has to be some of the best I've tasted.Kid-friendliness: They have closed seating areas.“
