This is the very first time I ever eat here. I have been Ubering around Oxford. For about four months now I haven’t stopped and ate anywhere because I’ve been working, but I stopped today. The food was absolutely awesome. The atmosphere was even better than that. The lady that owns the place was a very, very nice person. I called her over and we talked for a minute Just like I was a customer that come in every day beautiful place. Be sure to come here when you come to Oxford.
We ordered here for an office lunch this week. I ordered the double cheeseburger ? with bacon. The bacon was fried great. The burger was definitely hand patted. It could have used a little more seasoning. The fries were very basic. I was not a big fan of them at all. They had zero seasoning on them, including salt. Seemed to be just a basic frozen fry. One of my coworkers ordered the BBQ nachos. She liked them.
True local favorite. Get the double burger with cheese, you’ll have no regrets and it’s Oxford’s best burger. You may get something “fancier” elsewhere, but it won’t beat this true classic! Don’t come with a traditional restaurant experience in mind. Old fashioned, prepared fresh, local southern food shop at its finest.
