Beautiful restaurant, awesome food, and friendly staff. Waits can be long, but for good reason. The sushi I've had here is among the best I've eaten, and their staff are very patient and helpful. Cocktail menu is diverse and tasteful and their wings are well-known in oxford. Pricey, but worth it.
I want to start by saying I’ve always loved Jinsei and have eaten here plenty of times. Never a terrible experience until tonight. We could not get our waitress to come to our table for anything. Waited at least 30 minutes between drinks and she didn’t write down part of our dinner order so it did not arrive and she did not apologize when she realized what happened. Surprised to find sushi of this level of sophistication and quality in Oxford Mississippi. Simple, elegant decor with an expansive trellised outdoor deck which offers more of a sports bar vibe. Service was also excellent.
