Kings Steak House Reviews
We used King's Steakhouse for my son's rehearsal dinner recently. Nikki was fantastic to deal with. The service and food were outstanding.
Over priced for quality of food. Oysters and Hot tamales were not available. Redfish and shrimp were overcooked. Roasted potatoes were bland. Caesar salad was bland. Very disappointed. Should have been superb for $96.12!
For the price not impressed. There were 4 adults and 2 children (under 5), they took upon themselves to add a 20% tip to the bill and another 3% or so for paying with a credit card. Wife went into the bathroom with one of the granddaughter and it was filthy, it appeared someone had spilled Advils on the floor that had been there for a few days. Tried to order 2 different beers no longer carried either. do not plan on visiting again.

Kings Steak House is a decent restaurant with a mixed experience. The service can be slow due to a shortage of servers, and the availability of dinner rolls is not guaranteed. However, the steaks are generally good, with some mentioning the New York strip and roasted potatoes as a good combination. The Grove Dip is a popular appetizer, and the cheese sticks are the best ever. The shrimp and grits is a very tasty dish, though not traditional. Some reviewers have noted that the food can take a while to arrive, and the restaurant's temperature can be a problem, with some areas being hot and smoky. Despite these issues, the overall customer service is great, and the waitstaff are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is laid-back, and it’s a favorite spot for a weekly drink, appetizer, or salad. This is one of the few places in the area that can consistently cook a "blue" steak. Owners and servers remember regulars and how they like their food and drinks. While the decor could use some TLC, the food makes it worth visiting—especially on Mondays for the best steak deals. Highly recommended, but avoid game days or graduation for a better experience.
