We absolutely loved this place! We decided on getting a bunch of different appetizers to try a little bit of everything and we were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food along with the lovely ambiance and friendly waitstaff. The place doesn't get too loud either so that's a bonus! You are served fresh, soft, sweet bread with a jam butter and honey butter when you sit down. It's all quite sweet so if you don't like a lot of sweets you might not like this.My favorite dish here is the lamb lollipops appetizers served over their fried tobacco onions. The lamb was tender, juicy, had a little bit of spice and some sweetness to it from the cabernet molasses reduction, which I have to say was absolutely delicious! The tobacco onions were the best fried onions that I have ever had, they were flavorful, perfectly crispy and were addictive. We also loved the fried button mushrooms, it comes with a heaping pile, it could be an entire meal. The mushroom batter was so flavorful and the mushrooms inside were juicy. It is served with a buttermilk ranch was also very good.I tried the hand-cut cheese sticks and they were delicious! They're absolutely massive and you are served 5 sticks with a very light, but tasty, bredding. The marinara was okay and seemed canned, not too much flavor going on with it.We also tried the jumbo lump crab cakes, which were definitely not jumbo lump. The crab cakes were okay, they seemed to have been seasoned with an old bay type spice. There were onions and peppers in the crab cakes and they tasted a bit sour making me wonder if they add lemon to it. These were okay but being from Maryland these definitely missed the mark and were not as described.I also had the bacon wrapped shrimp, you are served 6 shrimp with lightly salted melted butter on the side. These were okay, the bacon is just salt & peppered and it doesn't seem that they did any seasoning on the shrimp so I found it a bit bland. Besides that, the shrimp and the bacon were cooked perfectly. This could be a good dish for someone who wants low sodium.Fried green tomatoes were served under the crab cakes but I did not like them. The breading was very gritty making me think that they are probably breaded with corn meal. The seasoned fries were thin, skin on, kinda greasy and just okay. The fries didn't seem to be seasoned except by a tasteless parmasean? Some fries were soft, and some were tiny and crispy. We didn't really eat many of them. The one dish I do not recommend here, and I did see it in other reviews, is the smoked gouda mac & cheese. It was awful, watery and lacked any flavor whatsoever.I tried the blueberry lemon drop and it was fantastic, I definitely recommend giving it a try if you drink and like lemon and blueberry.Overall I feel like this place is pretty good, their breading has to be some of the best I've tasted.Kid-friendliness: They have closed seating areas.

I have been wanting to try Oxford Grillehouse for sometime now. DON'T WAIT! One of the best ribeye steaks I've ever had. It doesn't matter if you're a local or just visiting Oxford, if you want an amazing steak make this your first stop.

The Oxford location does take reservations on specific days contrary to the website under reservations tab. I appreciated the employees in the front explaining that they do take reservations on certain days and being overall sympathetic. They were attentive and helpful even when they seemed to be overwhelmed. When my family and I do get to eat here the food is great, the staff is courteous and attentive. Best mozzarella sticks in town.

Anytime we try another steakhouse, it’s hard not to say “it’s not Oxford Grillehouse”. We love to find every excuse to dine here. Never had to wait more than 30 minutes, everything we’ve ordered has come out delicious, steaks are ALWAYS the right temp, very flavorful, and tender, and there’s bread and butter. The cheese sticks are massive. Brussels sprouts are so good. Highly recommend!

I have to say after going to the grillehouse multiple times I will not be going back. I have given them 3 chances and unfortunately all 3 times I have been I have not had a good experience. 2 of the 3 times I have gone I have gotten sick from eating here. They have so much potential bit have always fallen short for me. Every steak I have gotten here was so over seasoned and tastes like I was eating a block of salt. The last time I ate here I got a chicken dish. I took two bite and spit out the second bite. When the waiter came back by he asked if I wanted a box and he clearly noticed that I hadn't eaten any of my food. With the chicken I ordered char-grilled asparagus and a garlic green bean. The asparagus was clearly boiled, it was so saturated with water, it had no crisp to it. The green beans were decent. From my experience know you are paying for quality but getting sub par cooking.

The crabcakes were awesome and the filet was perfect. The beef tasted great and it was grilled correctly. The fluffy rolls and strawberry butter were amazing. We really enjoyed the after game dinner here.

I love this place… just the right amount of class and ambiance without the feeling of it being pretentious. Tonight? Yikes, first the Old Fashion…maybe expecting too much to get the large ice cube? Just ice cubes. Then I ordered dinner. Hm, full dinner, no bread basket. Probably don’t need it, but not the point. #1 salmon - raw. #2 salmon - charred and fishy. Not good and expect better for $60.

The food was amazing & there was not a long wait. The staff was unfortunately not very friendly or attentive. Would return as maybe our server was having an off day

Extremely loud. Steak was raw when ordered medium. Sent back. Came back again raw. Service from the new manager was awful. She threw steak down and ran. Asked for her to come back. She shrugged and said it was a busy night. This keeps up Grillhouse won’t be busy. It will go the way Clint’s restaurant in Navarre went. Belly up. We pay a premium price for good food and service. This is NOT acceptable.

It's a little small and loud in there with all of the people who come to enjoy the amazing food they serve, but it's worth it. They have the BEST steak in oxford!!! Always 10/10!
