Loved this place. Food was amazing. we had catfish dinner, fried chicken pot pie and shrimp po boy. Also got the red beans and rice egg rolls which were out of this world. Staff was so friendly. Service was spot on. Would highly recommend.
Oh boy. Down home, comfort cookin' at it's finest. There's a reason this place had a line out the door (other than being Friday afternoon before an Ole Miss football weekend). Really enjoyed my experience here.Can be a little confusing because there's not a host that takes you to a table, so you don't know if the line is moving or not. When we asked where to eat while we were touring Ole Miss more than one person suggested Ajax. It is a nice diner that likely has the taste and feel of any deep south diner - it is pretty cool.We ordered the Ajax Burger, the Club (not typical...it was more like a hogie...and a Veggie plate with fried okra, sweet potato casserole and mac and cheese <-- nice veggie plate huh?!The decor is fun, the location is ideal and the staff was wonderful.
