Papitos Mexican Grill

My husband and I went today. We haven't been in a while since the last issue I had at the place. Today, the service was SUPERB! The waiter was very professional and KIND. The food was AMAZING!! My husband said if they keep being like this, we will be back! 100 times better! Thank you!

Be honest. Don't add an extra tip on the bill over what is authorized.

Everyone else in my party was practically finished by the time my order was delivered. What they delivered to me was not what I had ordered (honestly, my order wasn't complicated). Therefore, I left 0 tip. However, when the charge hit my debit card, they had added $2.50 to the total after I specifically wrote a big ZERO on the tip line... I'll never eat there again...

Was charged $18 +tax for a half order of nachos at lunch time. I had a coworker pick my food up during lunch. There were three of us that ordered the nachos. When she went to pick it up, she asked them to split the ticket 3 ways. Instead they charged all three cards for the full amount of the order. I called to try to speak to the manager about being over charged. The manager told me oh well that's how much it costs so get over it. Basically this place collected sixty something dollars for 3 half orders of lunch nachos... And then was unwilling to correct their mistake. I suggest anyone craving Mexican DO NOT go here. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the near vicinity.

Amazing waitress so friendly and sweet. Food and drinks are great.

Chips were stale and it was so hot in there you couldn't enjoy being in there

We used to love Papitos and have been regulars since moving to Oxford two years ago. Came in for the first time under the new management and were appalled.

This has just never been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Under new management currently with a very underwhelming menu as far as choices go. Had the Papitos dip and the fajita taco salad. Papitos dip was ok. It's just pico, ground beef and queso mixed together. The taco salad came in a giant stand and stuff tortilla. And I mean GIANT. It was just ok. I added some of the dip to it to make it a bit more enjoyable though. The one big problem I have is their choice of tortilla chips for the customers. They are too thick and too hard. Ideal for scooping but still too thick.

Heard under new management, want to go back when get the chance and see if they have changed anything, but last time I was there was almost a year ago but I had great service and food came out like a racecar pace it was excellent.

we had a very nice time there the food was delicious and the staff was very nice and our waitress she made sure we had everything we needed or ask for it's a family and friendly place to eat and just to be able to relax with the friends I have found there thank you for a nice dinner

Under new management and it shows. Delicious food and lots of it, great prices and atmosphere.
