This is the kind of place where memories are made. The exterior isn’t upscale, but it’s the kind of place where you come for good food with friends. It reminds me of an old diner. The food is good. Full disclaimer I am not a fan of thin crust pizza, so would dock points against the pizza for that, but my boyfriend who loves thin crust gave it an 8/10. We also got their ravioli and it came with a free bread. It was so flakey and we used it to make meatball subs out of the pasta....
I saw a lot of mixed reviews but we still took a chance. We had a muffaletta and spaghetti with meat sauce. Both were very good. Everyone was nice and answered any questions we had about the menu. There were many takeout orders while we dined in. I would encourage anyone to try Pizza Den. If we had another day in Oxford we would have went back to try other dishes.
There food is delicious and unlike fast food restaurants this is a place you can go and definitely know you food will be fresh and hot and they had no problems when I asked them if they could make a few changes on what ordered.
