I'm not gonna lie, I loved the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in my hometown, and was very excited to visit the local one in Oxford. But when I came to attend the great University of Mississippi and went to the Oxford Popeyes to try an amazing chicken sandwich, I was highly, I mean highly, disappointed. The wait in the line took upwards of 20 minutes only to have to wait in the front of the line for another 5 minutes only for the lady in the front to say, "are you ready?"....read full review
We ordered 2 boneless chicken wing combos through the drive-thru, and were told to pull up to wait on our food. 15 minutes later, we still had not received our food and saw many people that came after us get their food. I walked in the restaurant asking for the status of our meal. That’s when they started to prepare it. They also forgot to give us our sauce that we ordered.

I was hungry and tired. I know I had no business going here. I waited in line for 20 minutes and got so tired. I was handed my drink and told thanks. I drove off. Well, I never got my food. I went back and had to go in to get my food. It was a miscommunication between staff. Poor children. They were all young and stressed out. I'll pass on going here when I'm hungry and tired. The chicken sandwich did taste good though when I finally got it.
