I got the falafel sandwich, and it was sooo good!!! I’m Middle Eastern, so trust, I take my falafel very seriously. The service was also great! I highly recommend this place. It’s authentic and good, and I will definitely be back. The location is also convenient, since it’s near the Square and campus. I can see this deli becoming an Oxford staple for sure!
Went for lunch on Friday. They were pretty busy, so check out service was quick but the food took a little while. I ordered the gyro on rice with seasoned fries. The gyro meat was tender but I usually like my gyro meat a little more seasoned; this was pretty mild. The rice was delicious, as was the sauce. Authenticity. Very few places remind me of home, But these guys got it right. Only Boars Head meat and cheese in the case, Chop cheese, And then just random goodies that may not seem like they fit, but if anybody knows that’s the vibe in the bodega. I got a turkey and Swiss warmed up With the seasoned fries ??? ask anyone who’s had them, they are already competing for best fries in town. can’t wait till they turn on delivery.
