“The Growler is the ideal spot in Oxford to hang out with a group of friends and grab some great beer on tap! I've been to The Growler quite a few times and have always had a great experience. I decided to swing in this week while back in town and it really held up. The staff working the bar are consistently awesome - they're personable, quick, and extremely helpful. The beer is always well poured. Their food is always great for the atmosphere. Some places tend to get lazy when serving bar food, but that is not the case for The Growler. There is so much seating available if you are planning to hang out with friends, and they have a few tvs and games available for use. It is somehow also a great spot for working - I have typed many, many papers here and have somehow never been too distracted despite this place often being filled with groups of people.“
“What's with these college towns not reviewing their local spots? OK, fine. We'll do it... We decided to take a trip down the road to Oxford to check out the local food scene, starting with Quacks. I mean who doesn't love a good hotdog while watching sports and drinking beer? Hopefully you love it because that pretty much sums up Quacks. Not much else to it. Luckily that's a winning formula since the game was a good one and the hotdogs (and brats) were quite tasty. Check them out...“
“A great place to hang out and eat/drink. The Tuscan chicken entree is my favorite!! The garlic potatoes are the best. Every time I've been there, the quality of the food is the same. It's always great!!Dietary restrictions: Staff is very attentive to food allergies. Please note, they fry everything in the same fryer.“
“This place was suggested to me since I was on a work trip and didn't know what to do. The atmosphere is awesome, I had the wings and they were outstanding. The best part was the golf simulator and let me tell you it's one of the best Sim platforms I have played. The staff was awesome and I will be back anytime I am in town.“
