Ravine is an absolute gem in Oxford and Chef Joel Miller has created something very special. Last night was my family’s second adventure at the restaurant and it was wonderful. The chef got us started with an amuse-bouche, a tasty croquette. We followed with the same appetizers as our previous visit--beef tenderloin mini-burgers on yeast rolls with red onion jam and bleu cheese, along with sautéed brussels sprouts with shallots, parmesan, and bacon. its more of 4.5 star. Its a very nice restaurant in all of oxford, the service is very nice. The small shrimp dish we had was a bit salty. Its a nice restaurant for a special occasion.
I’m a Sous chef in town. This is where I go to feel like I’m having a nice meal. Consistent, delicious and the servers know their menus. Best all around dining experience in oxford.
