Delicious!! My daughter is gluten free and said it's the best gluten free pizza she's ever had! I had one piece of her pizza and it was great! The sauce was so good! I had a salad and although not huge, it was fresh and the grilled chicken was really good. We're only here three days but my daughter has requested to return!

Our server Meg was very nice and kept our drinks filled. My favorite part of any meal here is hands down the bread and garlic oil they give you at the beginning, it's always so flavorful and warm. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and they were very crunchy and the middle was super soft. (kinda weird, I've never had a cheese stick like it) They didn't have much flavor either, but were very good in the garlic oil from the bread. I got the Caesar salad and my partner got the lasagna. The salad was decent, it had a strange almost sweet taste though. The lasagna had good flavor but terrible texture - noodles were overcooked for sure. Ambiance was nice, and there was no one else there so that was good. Overall, a good experience.

I called them on phone and they didn't answer. I should have known something was wrong then. So, I called them on phone again later and they finally answered the phone. They said they were open today and no need for reservations. As soon as I walked in, they were a few others waiting for a hostess that never came. One customer finally went and asked a waitress to come seat us. She told me to go upstairs to sit at bar. But, once at bar. They said they serve pizza and beer only. I didn't want that. So, I went all the way back down stairs so I could order some real food off the lunch menu. Once again, I found myself waiting to be seated at a restaurant that had no hostess. A waiter finally told me I could sit at a table along the wall. So, I finally got a seat after 15 minutes of waiting and given the "run around". My waiter did bring me my sweet tea. But, it took a long time for him to take my order. During this time, he did bring me some complimentary bread and melted butter. It was pretty good. At one point, I over heard him tell some customers that they have no dishwasher, no hostess and some other people that didn't show up. They finally brought me my spaghetti with 2 meatballs with marinara. They didn't put enough marinara on my spaghetti. So, it was a little dry. But, I ate it anyway. Even though the portion of spaghetti was a little small. Final thoughts: I wished I had eaten at Olive Garden in Tupelo earlier today. But, I wanted to come to the Oxford Square as it had been years since I have been down here. I think it was the mid 90's when I was down here the last time. Anyway, I don't think I'm coming back to this restaurant again. I was down here too long.

This is the saddest s5 pizza I've ever received. I've eaten countless s5 pizzas from here, and this is the most pathetic I've ever seen. I don't know if it's a kitchen issue, or management, but as of late, this place has been lacking on the quality of food.

Wow, just wow. Meg was the best server I have ever had. She was so attentive and really made my husband and I feel at home at Venice Kitchen. The definition of an Oxford essential.

Showed up at 815pm (every app shows close at 9pm, except online shows 10pm) and told they were no longer seating customers. People were still in the dining and bar area, so not sure exactly what time to show up. Came to Oxford with my wife who attended college here, she raved of the place but obviously was a different time. Unless we, our family, or friends want lunch, we will not recommend.

Wonderful! The complimentary bread and melted garlic butter are ! I had the margarita pizza which was fresh and delicious and everyone else at the table was very pleased with their dishes. Portions were generous! Service was attentive. Small pizza served myself and a small child.

Last night we ordered a cheese pizza and lasagna to go. The pizza crust was burnt and paper-thin with burnt cheese bubbles all over. I should have looked at it before I got home. The lasagna had burnt cheese as well. I know the chef must have looked at it before putting the pizza in the box. It looked leftover from lunch. I should have been brilliant and ordered from Pizza Hut. One star for the diet coke, Go back to being the Old Venice or close!

Old Venice use to be a favorite of mine in town before they decided to revamp the restaurant and menu. Not only did they remove some or not only mine but my fiends favorites- they added dishes that I honestly could have done without. While the free bread and oil is always a good thing to see, it doesn't make up for them going from two to three items I could enjoy in rotation to now just one.

I never write bad reviews. Maybe this was just a bad night. I do believe the service did they best they could, but the food was awful. I ordered the chicken fettuccini, and was actually happy that they came back to tell me they were out of chicken and could substitute shrimp instead. Then they delivered three out of our four meals explaining that my son's lasagna "had to thaw a little longer". I held off on eating until his food was delivered. By then, the congealed greasy fettuccini was overpowered by the spoiled shrimp they served me. I'm literally writing this review while sick from the meal. The two stars are for the luke warm beer I was able to enjoy somewhat while waiting on the disgusting meal. Never, never will I darken the door of this place again.

Alex was an awesome waiter, attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious.

Though there were some issues with availability of certain items (supply issues following a big football weekend for wine, and only one dessert item), the service from Alex was awesome! He was attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious (Cajun pasta and a pizza). Portions are smaller than in the past, but quality remains. Added plus, we wanted to take the partial bottle of wine home, but someone poured from it while it was waiting to be bagged - the gave us an unopened bottle.

Last year in town for move in and it was just Ok.... This year over parents weekend placed our name on the wait list around 7:40pm. Told 45+ minutes. At 8:39 walked in to check and was told the manager was closing the kitchen and seating anymore. They close at 9pm....... Not going back!

The wait staff seated us immediately. They were very attentive, the food was great, and the pricing was reasonable.

This establishment is poorly operated. There is not one friendly employee or any proper guidance from the manager, Josh. The quality of the food is mediocre, containing excessive grease and uncooked portions. I would definitely not recommend Old Venice Pizza, because of the disappointing management team and their mediocre business decisions.
