“The owner Judy was extremely helpful and friendly. We bought carne asada tacos, a shrimp taco, rolled chicken tacos, and pastor quesadilla. Their tortillas come from San Diego, I believe is what Judy said and they had an amazing texture. The carne asada had no fat in it, wasn’t chewy, best textured carne asada I’ve had since moving to the coast. Overall I give this place an 9/10. The price is amazing especially with today’s economy, and they don’t slack on the meat!! Everything was extremely delicious. Next time I will be trying a few items not on the menu (chimichangas, another type of taco I believe she called Mula tacos, and the loaded potato) and the California burrito. Chow me down is honestly an hidden gem and worth every penny. Only reason atmosphere isn’t a 5 is because that would be lying. The atmosphere in no way is bad, just a place to eat. It doesn’t deduct any points on the experience in my opinion though. (I don’t think the photos I took do the portions or looks in general any justice)“
