Rio Grande Mexican restauran /Purvis ms

The last time I ordered their Chicken La Chusma I got food poisoning. I will never eat @ Rio Grande again.

MSG in the salsa, beware for those with severe allergies. I’ll now have an unsightly blemish on my lip and poor sleep for a week or more. Rest of the food was wonderful. Salsa would be good without artificial stimulants. I’ll never go back.

It's a small town Mexican restaurant, on the better side of what you would expect. Food is always good. Always friendly service.

This is a very nice restaurant; the service was super-fast and the food was hot and very delicious---and abundant in portions. I was very pleased with the atmosphere and the overall dining experience. I would highly recommend eating here and yes, I will be returning soon.

This has got to be the #1 non fast food restaurant in purvis. Steak burritos/steak quasedilla always good. Much better bang for your buck than petunias I think. The BBQ tends to be dry and the mac and cheese that costs extra as a side taste like school cafeteria. From now on ill keep my occasional splurge on supper at rio grande.

One of the worst margaritas I have ever had. They put some type of sparkling soda or water and it is just bizarre

Staff there is very nice, always checking on you. The food is wonderful. If you have dietary preferences they have no problem with that, they help you with no problem! They don't buckle under pressure with big parties of people coming in. I would suggest the enchiladas with cheese sauce! Or pineapple fajitas!!

Loved this place. Staff extremely nice. Fast service and as someone who loves and has had real street tacos from Mexico City. Their Al Pator Tacos are amazing. The salsa and salsa Verde! YUMMY! Some of the best I've had! Lol and LOVED the small tea pitcher for glasses. My daughter found it quite amazing! Def give this place a try!

Kid-friendliness: They also have a very good and affordable kids menue! In my kids love spice, but if you were do not, they have a great cheese dip for kids!
