“The manager lady, when she us there, the food is top knotch!! Like, it's amazing how good the food can be from here when she is working, but she can't work every single day.I have been hoping that one day they get someone else in that store that cares about customers happiness as much as she does, so then when she takes a break, the other person takes over, but it hasn't happened yet.Food is still great, there are just people that care about making good food and the rest just want to make a paycheck. Nothing wrong with either mind you, but when you go out to eat, you can tell who enjoyed preparing the meal and who just threw it together. That's all I'm saying.“

“Starting off, it's fast food. The food is edible and the service is quick. But there are employees there that have been very helpful and go above and beyond their minimum wage (I'm assuming) job. Even the managers there do what they can, given limited resources and pay themselves. The employees are what keep me coming back, not the food. They deserve much more than whatever Hardee's corporate designates for them!“

“It depends on the morning if the buiscuits are too hard, depends on the afternoon if the chicken is too dry, you will never get more than ONE sauce per 6 McNugget unless you pay extra for it. The morning smoothies are divine!! The sodas could be good, could be bad. Its a middle of the road kind of stop.“

“In the quaint town of Quitman, one encounters the culinary microcosm that is Bumpers Drive-In, a place where the proletarian simplicity of a burger joint meets the complex flavors of American cuisine. It is here, amidst the aroma of hand-battered onion rings and the sizzle of philly sandwiches, that one finds a semblance of truth in the form of sustenance.
The establishment, unassuming as it may seem, harbors a revolutionary spirit within its menu. The chili cheese dogs, a bold defiance against the tyranny of blandness, and the strawberry shortcake, a sweet rebellion on the palate, are but a few examples of the gastronomic uprising that Bumpers offers to the weary traveler.
The service, provided by the youthful car hops, is a testament to the vigor of youth, uncorrupted by the weariness of the world. They serve not just food, but hope, with a smile that is reminiscent of the sweetest days of yore.
In this drive-in, one does not merely dine; one partakes in a democratic feast, where every bite is a vote for flavor, every sip a ballot for satisfaction. Bumpers, in its essence, is not just a restaurant. It is a bastion of culinary democracy, a beacon of taste amidst the oppressive blandness that plagues the common fare.
Thus, with a heart full of content and a belly full of delight, I bestow upon Bumpers Drive-In the highest of accolades, a five-star tribute to its unwavering commitment to flavor, service, and the pursuit of the American culinary dream.“
