The donuts actually feel and taste like your biting into a pillow from a bed in heaven that catches any bad or negative thoughts and replaces them with pure ecstasy. “The best donuts in the Jackson area. I always loved the crew that worked in there and were always so friendly. Almost made you feel like you were in a small town especially when they were cash only and owner would tell you to not worry about breaking a dollar to make up a few cents. The first time I stepped in there I didn’t realize it was cash only and he told me not to worry about it and they would catch me on the next go round. Because of this type of honor system is one of the reasons I kept coming back. They will be truly missed not only for their great donuts but for everything they offered to the community. Thank you for serving the area and you have truly set the bar high for new owners….“

“Shipley's is my favorite donut place around and I was super excited when they opened up near me. Their donuts aren't ultra sweet where if you bite into one, you won't get instant diabetes. The dough isn't too light where you can flatten it super small and it's all sugar. The eclairs are AMAZING and so are the donuts with chocolate, strawberry, etc. They don't glaze the whole donut then dip the top but only the top's dipped which is the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment the doughnut. The staff is nice too and they deliver speedy service. Shipley's is better than big chains <3“
