This spot feels outdated. The fried seafood at our table was overcooked and far too hard. The raw oysters were small and sloppily shucked—three of them had to be thrown out. Even the cocktail sauce missed the mark, giving the oysters an off taste. Maybe this place was once good, but today it doesn’t live up to its old reputation

If it was a 0 that would I would say about this place the food was so hard on the outside but raw in the middle the drink was so water down the it tastes like water and was told if I would have too pay for a dual to get a good drink

Ordered catfish and shrimp. Shrimp were overcooked and dry. Catfish was ok. Server was nice

Home cooking by the best seafood cooks in town. And try red beans and rice on the side.

This used to be one of my fave seafood places. So not sure what was going on, but the smell of raw seafood was incredibly strong, smelled like a fish market. The ceiling was dripping water (it wasn’t raining), so I feel like the building is in disrepair. The shrimp I ordered smelled just as bad and when I got home and inspected it was overcooked and not cleaned at all. Every piece had a bulging vein. I ended up throwing it out because I just didn’t want to risk it.

The redfish and fried squash was wonderful. Our server was the best that I’ve had in years. She was very attentive, nice, and was on her game.

Came here because they advertised they still had crawfish. At least half the crawfish had straight tails, which means they were already dead before boiling.

Excellent and inexpensive lunch on weekdays. Where else can you get a lunch with iced tea for $10? Got the catfish plate and the blackened fish plate.
Waited half an hour + on chargrilled oysters. (Restaurant was dead). And they were so bad I had to spit them out. I just put cash on the table and left. Gritty, sandy, and not shucked. Just glad I didn’t swallow them or I would’ve been sick
We had Cajun Cigars, Redfish Bites and the Bayou Shrimp. They were SO GOOD!! Meghan was our server. She was amazing!! Will definitely be back!!
I'm a senior & have eaten @ most of the seafood restaurants all along the coast where I used to fish, but the seafood plate I had @ your place yesterday put them to shame. The shrimp & oysters were absolutely delicious. I'm very picky how my oysters are cooked, ha!
