“Arrived at 12, at 12:15 they took our order for two lunch specials. 12:45 we asked how much longer it would be. After checking, "Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to your ticket & she's cleared away everything for the lunch special." We reordered & at 1:15 we had lunch. I ordered the patty melt & asked if it had sautéed onions..."yes." The onions were chopped (see photo,) barely cooked & crunchy. This was my second time to visit Sam's. I'm hoping this is not the norm!”

“I think this might have been the only restaurant open when we rolled into this little town. Food was typical Subway. The girl who made our food was wonderful. Very personal and funny. Glad she was out sandwich maker.”

“We enjoyed our first visit here. The salsa was very tasty and the sweet tea was on point. My chicken empanada plate was enough for two meals. The chicken was perfectly seasoned...absolutely delicious. My wife's carnita quesadilla plate was equally generous and well seasoned. The service was friendly and we were warmly thanked as we left the restaurant. So now we will add this location to our list of Great Mexican Restaurants in Laurel. We haven't found a bad one yet.”

Will we be back....hell yea! The city was doing some road work nearby, so park and walk. You'll need a walk after.”

Best Po Boys in town, Gumbo to warm your soul, fries are to die for and much more. “Every grill dad thinks his burgers are the best but this was a close second. Ordered the jumbo chili cheese with chili cheese fries and I'm glad I only ordered the small fry. Big burger, messy in the best way, and delicious. Generous with the chili and cheese on the fries (I went with the nacho cheese but you can also get it with sliced American). I'm definitely gonna remember this place.”

“I don't want to not recommend this place but today was just awful. There were two tables of people there today including us so no crowd at all. We ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches one wrap and 3 waters. I don't know what the deal was but it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I finally walked up to check and they were just getting around to it. my son said the kid at the counter had no business dealing with customers. It was unacceptable we should have left but we had already paid and the kids were hungry. We wanted coffee but figured it was a lost cause. Thought you should know”
