Our server was not attentive to our table and lack people skills. Some of our food was cold like the pasta. Food wasn't brought out that was ordered. Took over 20 minutes food our checks to be processed.
I was very disappointed, it was my husband's 45th birthday dinner and it was not a good experience. It took a long time to be served and after we finally ordered the food took too long to come out. Some received their food after an hour but three of us took our food to go because of the wait time. One of my husband's guest food was not made correctly and another one never received his salad. However, it was very clean the ones who ate their food there said it was good but disappointed with the portion sizes for the price. The waitress apologized for the experience and asked us to please come back. I am not sure about that.
My wife and I usually come and have the 16oz ribeye each time we visit. This time they didn't have the 16oz nor the 18oz and we had to have the NY strips that didn't get cooked to order. I asked for medium rare and my wife asked for medium. They were both cooked medium rare. My wife just dealt with it because she wanted to try and enjoy our evening out. The were also out of cream spinach. We basically had to order three times before our order was taken to be processed. We usually receive an overall better experience. This was a failed attempt out of all of the other visits. We won't be back so soon. Won't recommend it either.

We visited here as a date night. The service was subpar. I had to ask for the waitress a couple of times, because she didn't check on us often. I had better service at Chickfila I expected much more from this place as my date and I traveled from Bartlett, TN to check this spot out. Unfortunately I will not return.

The feel of the restaurant was wonderful! The staff were excellent. The food.. was not worth the price they ask. It was our first time there and we enjoyed our date night, but we will most likely not revisit.

This is my second time to this restaurant and the food is great! No issues with service or anything. I really don't prefer music playing in restaurants, it is a little distracting but it was a really good experience.

Main issue: valentines menu rather than regular menu. I could understand walk in only restaurants having the differences, but I don't come to mesquite to get food I can get everywhere else in town. The server was rude when he denied a regular menu. For a reservation we made at an expensive restaurant, I expected way better. The one other time I was able to come here, it was fantastic. However, Valentine's Day was an absolute disappointment for a second trip. I don't know if we will be back. Too expensive for sub par service (the waiter seemed like he couldn't get rid of us fast enough at the end when we wanted to enjoy one more drink. I think we were there for a total of an hour and a half, and waiting on food was most of that.) and not being able to order what made it so special and worth it in the first place.

The waiter was not attentive had to look for him on several occasions. My steak came out undercooked, I ordered medium well and got rare. My baked potato was undercooked and lukewarm. The manager came over to rectify the situation what I got the second time was an overcooked steak and a cold undercooked potato. I Do not recommend this restaurant especially for the prices.

Food was good overall. I ordered the salmon, it was a little sweet for my liking. It would be good to have a savory version also for those who may not like sweet salmon. Atmosphere was great. I will visit again, just won't order the salmon.
The food was great. I gave them a 4 on food because they were out of the bone in ribeye. This was at 6:30 on New Year's Eve. Melissa our server did a great job. Overall we were very pleased.

Food was ok. We only got several appetizers as our meal . The bacon wrapped shrimp was a little undercooked . Did not care for crab and lobster cakes at all. The meatballs were good . The best part of our meal dessert was the creme brûlée and sticky toffee cake. Our waitress was very friendly and nice , did a great job.

Food great, server was on top of her game and the GM came around to make sure everyone was doing fine. The servers worked together as a team. I had the pork tenderloin and it was tender , my guest had the lamb chops and my husband had the ribeye steak, the food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Our waiter was Chris. This young man did a fantastic job taking care of us! The bacon wrapped shrimp are really good. A bit too noisy but we could carry on a conversation. Bread was warm and tasty. We'll be back.

Mesquite Chop House was the perfect restaurant to celebrate my mother's 60th Birthday. Our waitress, Ms. Amanda was so sweet, professional and informed about everything on the menu. The restaurant was clean, the staff was professional and kind and the ambiance was a real vibe! I'll be back for sure and I enjoyed the way their Facebook page is updated often and tells customers when they'll be closed to the public, so you can avoid booking on that specific date.
