I have had a terrible experience each and every time I’ve visited this restaurant. The only reason I ever returned was because my daughter requested food specifically from here; however, I will not return in the future. The food is good, but the customer service is terrible. Every time I request a small order of fried rice, the cashier gets visibly upset and has even lied a few times regarding the portion sizes. He will also limit the amount of soy sauce to one for an entire order of rice; when asked for more he becomes upset (gritting teeth, etc). He is by far one of the rudest people that I have ever met. It’s not worth spending my hard earned money at any business that mistreats customers in the manner experienced at this place.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The food is good; the man at the register is extremely rude. I thought maybe the first time being there that the man at the register was having a bad day. The second and third day he was still rude, disrespectful. When I asked for some condiments, he rudely stated that I had it. He was rushing me when I made my payment.
His customers service is terrible, unprofessional and out of order. Even the food is good, the poor customer service damages rhe reputation of the restaurant.

My family and I have been supporting this business for years. At first there was a very nice Asian lady who worked the counter. She left some time ago and the customer service has been atrocious. The guy who is there now is very rude and disrespectful. The food is very good but I can’t continue to support this business because of how bad we are treated every time we go there.

Please watch them make your food. Me another customer waiting for i food when the guy with me seen one of the cook drop a steak on the floor and pick it up and place it on the plate to go. So when the other guy told them what he seen they try and lie about it. So we asked for a refund back. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME! BE CAREFUL

I ordered Seafood Lo Mein on 9/23/25 at Tokyo Grill Southaven. The dish contained zucchini, to which I have a life-threatening allergy. I politely explained and requested a remake. Staff instead removed the zucchini and returned the food to the grill. This created a dangerous cross-contact risk, so I refused the order and left. I will not return. Please be cautious if you have food allergies.

I picked up my food from this place and the guy up front was rude as hell as if we made him work there. I ordered a veggie rice and the veggies literally taste like they have been cooking everything in the same oil all day. This is the worst Tokyo grill that I have been to. Never again.
Rude cashier, can’t even sing/fill out the recipe after paying. This individual will literally snatch the recipe while you are signing it and throw your credit card at you, instead of handing it to you like a person. “Okay enough signing.” Is the statement I got 6/10/2025 @ 2:46pm. Plus the chicken smells like propane.
