Great margaritas and tacos. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service.

Best tacos in Starkville! As good or better than any taco joint in the bigger cities like Nashville. Atmosphere is really cool too!

Just flawless. Ashley E. Did a perfect job. Super busy day...they got is in and out on time. Food was awesome, my kids are hooked! Glad my buddy David Chism told us about the place!

Our first experience tonight was unforgettable! The staff (our waitress Anna and the curly headed waitress) were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was AMAZING! We actually ordered one of every taco (all 8!) and rated them for the waitresses. It was so fun sitting outside watching the sunset, enjoying dinner and hanging out. Thank you, Humble Taco, for a delicious meal for our family. We will 100% be back soon with more family and friends!

Great restaurant, staff and ambience! Everything on the menu is delicious. I heard complaints initially about their regular salsa but they changed the recipe and now it is great as well.

Tell me why every time I order an avocado HALF from here for an extra $1.75 I only get two very thin slices? This time I ordered two halves and it maybe makes up 1/4 an avocado (pictures for references). It's sad because the food here is great but this is the third time this has happened to me. It's not only cheap, it's a form of lying and a way to cheat customers just to make an extra few cents-- trashy but what do you expect from a taco place probably owned by white people (better to stick to Arepas down the street. Higher quality, genuine Latin American food, similar food, always HUGE portions, and cheaper).Stop scamming your customers. The extra $1.75 is already way too much but not even giving customers what they paid for is robbery and absurd.Like unless y'all have the worlds tiniest avocados......this is a SCAM.Edit* Looking at other reviews there seems to be an issue with giving people what they paid for: the portion sizes advertised.I would go so far as to say this is a form of fraud due to the false advertising.**They also seem to have problems with their workers adding on extra tips after you leave (even if you tip online) so look out for your receipts!**

Okay I have never been here before today I came in and got the chicken enchiladas and churros to go…my churros were hard as a Brit bat definitely burned and it seemed like whomever cooked them tried to cover up how over done they were by adding a pound or two of the cinnamon/sugar …cool no big deal but the enchiladas had chicken bones as well I think the chicken may have been a little older than fresh cooked . I’d be willing to give another shot since this was my first go round but ehhh not sure on flavors either. People were very nice and welcoming however so props there and who knows maybe if I had eaten in the experience would’ve been much better!Edit:Just wanted to add that I did not leave a tip originally bc it was a Togo order and now almost 3 days later my total was updated to include a tip to say I’m upset is probably the least of it I’ve contacted the store and they have given me no response yet. Will update when they do.

I came here for the first last weekend really excited to try it. The best thing about this establishment is the atmosphere. I had terrible service, and the food was even worse. There were maybe 10 people in the entire restaurant including myself????? Yet the food took incredibly long. Do not recommend

Husband took me to Humble Taco for my birthday dinner. We had eaten there about a year ago and it was great. Waiter's name was Aidan and he was terrific. Went back for my birthday and it was horrible. Ordered sweet potato tortillas with my order - they brought me the wrong order which I sent back. Next they came back with correct order but they gave me white flour tortillas instead of the sweet potato ones I had ordered, which I hate and which I can't eat due to gluten allergies. It took quite awhile for the waiter (IIRC Jake) to understand he had written down an entirely different order than we ordered. He was upset with us for giving him the wrong order (yeah, right). Husband didn't get what he asked for either, on second time it wasn't correct either. So out of 4 attempts, the waiter got all 4 wrong. Needless to say, we won't be back. I've heard it's on the verge of going out of business now. Color me surprised - NOT.

Great choices. Both tacos I ordered were delicious. I had the catfish and the veggie. The smoked cauliflower was excellent. The catfish was well prepared - not greasy - and served with wonderful seasonings.

Food was outstanding. Our server (Sam) was spot on with knowledge of the menu. Service was fast and we tipped accordingly. In my mind this is a go to restaurant.

Second chance and a terrible experience!!! First time I went, everything was OK. This time I wanted to try it again and was TOTALLY let down. I ordered a BURRITO BOWL. Instead we got a BURRITO SCOOP. Literally less than 2 OZ of meat ($3.95 extra). Literally $11.90 for a scoop of rice with meat and vegetable garnish. With that being said, service and atmosphere was sub par. For a Thursday night in Starkville - nobody was here (I understand why now) and service was eehhhh. I understand having the "stoner service vibe" - it's the hip thing now... but try to get some who can actually interact with customers. I expected much more from a restaurant with such a big name in Starkville. 10/10 will not recommend.
