I can’t begin to say enough about how welcomed we were and how the time was made to answer all our questions. We met a gentleman on his way out holding an absolutely exquisite loaf of braided bread. It was a work of art.
Please give yourself a treat and drop by. I assure you, you will love it!!
Exploring Starkville a bit and one of the few places open on Friday evening, on an Easter weekend, was Proof Bakery. Checking it out was a must! So glad we did! The baked good are tasty, and the owner is an amazing person! You can buy in store or order online with curbside pickup!

Visiting our niece at MSU we discovered Proof. As a working baker in Virginia, I had to stop in. I was so glad I did. Entering the shop is walking into TJ's (the owner and baker) kitchen. Every inch of the shop and the bakery drips with a passion for baking. We bought croissants and a strawberry cronut. At first, they seemed a bit expensive, but they are the biggest I have ever eaten.
