This is the second time we've stayed in Tupelo on route to family. A year ago we picked the Blue Canoe because it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. This time we looked forward to it the entire 6hr drive to Tupelo! This funky little spot has an amazing menu, wonderful and friendly service and an awesome beer line-up. Highly recommend it!

I’ll keep it sweet and simple. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years! 10/10 food. I do miss the Pot Roast Corn Bread Waffles! 👀 The duck quesadillas is amazing! Brown Bag bologna (Thank you Vinny for putting me on game) The pasta has saved my life at multiple occasions! Great Beer Selections! I love coming to Tupelo just for yall!! I truly support yall everytime I get a chance! Pizza Vs Taco was amazing! The PVT pizza with Candi Jalapeño and cup pepperoni! (Add the Ghost Pepper Marinara) The Marinated Olives! The guap with sun dried tomatoes! Boom was an amazing server and his recommendation was fire! He would go into some insane details about freshly pressed corn tortillas. Peanut butter arbol or something on the taco. The skirt steak tacos? But, this is a Blue Canoe Post. 10/10 atmosphere, 10/10 Bartenders/Servers. I recently came back and saw the renovations to the back patio. Corn holes and some good vibes is all you need!

This is a surprise. After reading all the positive comments we were surprised to walk into a dive bar type atmosphere with wobbly tables and writing all over the walls and tables. The women waiting the tables, though very busy, were friendly and efficient and helpful. The food was prepared perfectly, as if we were at a fine dining establishment. Will return if we're back in Tupelo.

Rolled into town after a long drive and found this place nearby my hotel so gave it a go, tried the surf and turf burger, was so good I inhaled it along with the only decent single pour Guinness’ I ever had

My all time favorite bar in America. Friendly local vibes, great food, music and service. I don’t consider Tupelo a tourist destination but I have had many co-workers ask to plan business travel to Tupelo for the purposes of checking out the Blue Canoe. 14 year later and it’s still rocking the same quality food and service. Buy their merch, it’s a talking point if you’re from out of town and return home.
