I was passing through Tupelo looking for a southern diner style breakfast. Connies was not quite that but I am a sucker for fried chicken and biscuits. You can tell a place is doing it right when their menu is limited and yet is still packed. Fried chicken was crispy, biscuits were soft and buttery, and the gravy was thick. They also serve homemade blueberry donuts that I regret not trying. Grateful I stopped by and would absolutely return.
Love this place! I have been going for years, always the friendliest staff and amazing food. I’m of course biased to their famous blueberry donuts. Joel is one of my favorite employees, he always has a smile on his face and cares about the environment around the restaurant. There’s a reason they’re famous around town!
Connie’s is great!! The food is great & the customer service is top notch. It is always nice to see the staff, especially Tracie! She is always smiling and welcoming to any and everybody! I highly recommend this place.
