Always a good time for some Ichiban!
Best Japanese place in Tupelo. We use to stay away from here but since it has recently been under new management, it is the absolute best. We don’t even go to Mt. Fuji anymore after trying this place. Been here 4 times in 4 weeks.

Food was so good!!
I haven’t been here in years since the original ichiban closed. But I’m so glad we gave it another try tonight. The staff was friendly, service was great. Even though our waitress has several tables, she was still very attentive to us. Food came out in a timely manner and was so good!!! All around good experience! We will be back again. Ichiban will be our new go to!

Ichiban Japanese Grill offers fantastic Japanese cuisine and Cajun style seafood at a reasonable price. Some dishes like the dynamite sticks may not be the same quality as before. Despite smaller servings, the shrimp sauce is excellent. The restaurant might have taken a hit in quality since changing ownership a few years ago, but it remains the best in town.
