Ya’ll are missing out! This is a wonderful spot! We had great service and the fries and milkshakes were so good! Good prices compared to everywhere else. The staff was polite and checked on us often.
I'm from Illinois, so I've been going to Steak n Shake for almost 30 years. The food was good, service was great. I miss the shakes coming in glass shake glasses with the extra shake in the metal shake mixing cup, but otherwise, it was as I remember it.
After a VERY long day of driving, we were thrilled to see a Steak ‘n Shake within walking distance of our hotel. The staff was beyond helpful and kind getting our orders ready quickly. We weren’t finished and they were closing the dining room. We were told no problem, to relax and take our time. Anyone can make a burger but service makes all the difference.
