Great food.
This place is now The Gin. It's under new ownership and is doing great. It's newly remodeled, has some old staff and new but all with friendly and fast service. This is a great place to go for just a drink or a drink and meal. The menu reflects the stea with local favorites as well as comfort food. Don't pass up the opportunity to go for a night out. The bartender Alison is very good at what she does and will make your drinks for you fast and friendly.
This is no longer Steele's Dive. It is now known as "The Gin". Everything was very good.
Steele's Dive offers great food and atmosphere, with highlights like the Sunday buffet featuring spectacular fried chicken, succulent mashed potatoes, and tantalizing turnip greens. While take-out can be inconsistent, dining in provides superb customer service and convenient parking. Enjoy a delicious meal, including excellent burgers, paired with a cold beer in a welcoming atmosphere.
