The Gin Restaurant Reviews
Not just once BUT twice! I’ve been impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere at the Gin. I had previously chosen not to patron this restaurant from past experiences with the former establishment.. not realizing I was wrong in doing so. I now have the best memory of my daughter turning 4 & grandmother-in-law turning 86!
I highly recommend the fried tamales, seafood pasta, wings, and catfish po’boy from experience!

The Gin is a great place to eat! The meatloaf is as good or better than your Mama’s, mashed potato’s with gravy and fried okra were also very good. I got the bread pudding for dessert and that is the best bread pudding I have ever had! Staff were friendly and attentive, good atmosphere.
Highly recommend you trying The Gin in Tupelo MS.

Me and a few of my friends was there this past Saturday (12/6). We had a wonderful time but the only complaint I had was the patio sitting. We were by the window and it was cold. But we managed to enjoy ourselves and will be coming back soon… Thank you all so much for your warm hospitality. The food was great❤️

The Gin Restaurant offers a mix of casual dining and takeout. Guests have praised the Fried Catfish, Carl’s Chicken, and the hamburger steak with flavorful gravy. Sides like fries, coleslaw, okra, sweet potato casserole, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes were very good. The steak was cooked just as ordered and really tender. The Bourbon Mall Fried Hot Tamales, Burger, and Onion Rings are Top Notch. A shrimp and crawfish pasta beats anything in Louisiana, and the pork ribeye is an excellent choice. Service was great, with staff accommodating and nice on the phone and at pickup. The atmosphere is calm with good music and casual down home. Some noted the Saturday lunch menu was a joke with only a burger or po boy, and costs are inflated about 30%. Still, many will definitely be back and recommend it anytime but Saturday lunch.
