We ordered rib plates with beans and potato salad. Ribs were okay, greasy, very little flavor and burnt in some places. Not impressed. 2 stars for potato salad. Meal didn't come with bread. We ordered drinks and didn't get them. Atmosphere was small and tight. Toilet in bathroom unsteady. Don't sit on it.

My wife and I traveled many, many miles, and hours, to come to Big Bee’s barbecue. We had it two years ago when we stumbled upon this place, and haven’t forgotten how good the food is. I couldn’t decide what to have, so I had one of each! Chicken, pulled pork, and ribs, along with two sides, which are obviously homemade. It was all delicious, and every bit as good as we remembered from two years ago.

Mike, a.k.a. Big Bee, and his daughter and family are gracious, very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is “homey“, but you go there for the food. Prices are unbelievably good. So next time you are here in Vicksburg, you have to try Big Bee’s barbecue. It’s simply the best!

We stopped by for a meal while travelling in the area. The food did not disappoint; Pork Ribs is very flavorful and didnt even need the sauce, but sauce was also very good. Baked beans was pretty good too. Pork chop is really good, not dry at all. I'd recommend Big Bees to anyone passing the area, great value!!!

I purchased 3 meat plate, ribs,sausage, chicken. Ribs chicken didn’t taste fresh it tasted like meat previously cooked and reheated. The meat had no seasoning. I ordered a baked potato, I was asked what I wanted on the potato, however it didn’t come with the items asked for. The cheese was some sort of liquid. I didn’t enjoy the meal at all.

Great lunch stop here. It’s a charming small cafe. Very simple place. Clean. Very friendly owner, Mike, who grills some delicious BBQ. I loved the pulled pork and my wife loved the ribs. They were tender and very meaty. So good!

Never again

We were traveling through town and found this place on goggle. The food is very tasty. Everything we had was homemade. Ribs, Sausage, loaded potato salad, mac n cheese. Yummy!! 😋 The sauce is made from scratch also. Prices are very fair for the amount you get. We were traveling through town and looked up Barbecue places, and here we are. Very nice owner, makes you feel welcome, very friendly. The people coming in very courteous as well. All well rounded place. Stop by and see for yourself. 😊 Is small but very welcoming.

You don't find places like this anymore! The food is absolutely incredible! I love my barbecue food, especially pulled pork and this guy made it perfect!

Beyond the food, this guy is an incredibly honest and good human being! I was short in cash and he couldn't get the card reader to work. He let me have the food and said it was good. I said absolutely not I'll see you tomorrow. People like that should be rewarded!

This is one of the best bbq places I have ever been to. If you are visiting Vicksburg this is a must stop place to eat at. You will not be disappointed or leave hungry. The food is delicious and the owner was an absolute delight.
