Made a stop here while traveling through Vicksburg. We got a cinnamon roll and a sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolache. The cinnamon roll could have used a bit more cinnamon flavor, but it was good. On our 3500-mile trip west, I stopped at three other places to try sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolaches and all were good, but this one was the best -- and the spiciest. It'll wake you up. Divine Donuts may not look like much on the outside, but it's worth a stop.

I miss Shipleys donuts! Prices are high. Donuts aren't as wonderful, no longer serve the small chocolate milk for the kids, and the Donuts are never warm in the morning.

Bravo. Highly recommend. We ended up here on accident. This place is attached to the gas station and the bathrooms at the gas station were closed. Well, what's a guy to do?? I wandered into a dive donut shop and low and behold, the heavenly scent of sweetness caught my attention. I was preparing to order some donuts and noticed the hot tamales. Curious, I ordered six. Oh my, these were the best tamales I've ever eaten. My daughter ordered a strawberry filled donut and loved it. We'll be stopping by on our trip back to Florida.

Shipley's donuts was better. Divine donut is a little chewy, first time I have donut in this kind of texture, maybe something with flour that is different than everybody else.Kolache is not supposed to be fried. That's such a lazy way of making kolache and ruin them.
Who eats donuts and hot tamales for lunch? Apparently my family and I! We thought this combination was interesting, and my 93-year-old dad was reminiscing about Vicksburg in the 50s, remembering when he bought hot tamales from a cart downtown. So we went in and ordered. The lady there couldn’t have been nicer! The donuts were great, fluffy and delicious. And we had the best hot tamales ever! They were perfect. So good were they that we bought a dozen and a half to take home. I highly recommend!

Great place and supper nice people! We were passing through Vicksburg one morning on the way to NOLA and found these delicious donuts. Definitely treat yourself to some of their sweet treats when you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!
