My husband has always told me that the food is pretty good and the owners are really nice and friendly. I finally got an opportunity to go there myself for lunch. I had the loose meat burger, and my husband had the frito pie and chili cheese hotdog. The total was just over $7. I will definitely stop by any time I'm in the area. The couple who owe the place were so sweet. They also have a tiny thrift store area inside as well. Definitely worth stopping by, not just for the food, but for the hospitality of the owners.

Great two days in Vicksburg. Was looking for a dog before heading to Natchez. Hot Dog Man did not disappoint. Two, loaded, chili dogs, Fritos and a Diet Dr Pepper....limited seating and lots of carry out going on....seems like a "go to" place for a quick lunch...

After 7 years of living in Vicksburg, MS I have never been to Red's Hot Dog Stand until today. It was wonderful. The owners are so nice, the food is so simple and so good. It's a wonderful little hole in the wall. Highly recommend if you've never been.Featured is a Frito Pie added onions & Jalapenos & a Chili Dog added onions & jalapenos.

5 star hot dog restaurant. Great chili dogs, red beans and rice and Frito pie. Yum Yum. We are chili dog people and have them when we travel and this was our favorite so far. The service and friendly people where amazing.
