was up in Vicksburg for the weekend, got in town starving. Walked abt 15 mins from our motel. This place has the charming (I mean that lovingly) atmosphere of a dive bar and OMG possibly the best burger I've ever had. Great service, amazing food. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Burger was well seasoned, juicy and edges were crispy with a toasted bun. Fries were excellent as well, next time I want to try the onion rings. I got the cheeseburger with bacon. Prices were also decent.

Built up an appetite after touring the National Park, the Old Depot Museum, Coke Museum and Lower Mississippi River Museum. Just up the street this unassuming establishment sits just on the edge of downtown Vicksburg. Had good reviews so decided to stop in. Glad we did. Our service was outstanding. Very nice people in there. Ordered the Vicksburger and catfish basket. To my surprise, it was 1lb of beef sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Burger was topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, mustard and ketchup. It was perfect! Nothing needed adding nor subtracting. Hit so good! The catfish was light and crispy and was delicious. The fries appeared to be hand cut and was fried to a perfect golden crisp! I slightly salted and would say these were some of my favorite fries in a long time. If you’re looking for a low key spot to eat a great meal, look no further. Looks like they have a nicely stocked bar with a stage for live music. I highly recommend the place. Come out and support your local restaurants and avid chains!

It's made out like a restaurant but it's a bar. Food was OK, definitely not worth what we paid

Parking could be better, and the drive to the place was chaotic with the road chewed up. Food was very good.

The fried fish sandwich was amazing, as was the burger and BLT. The lady who served us was very accommodating and pandered to our fussy no mayo, pickles, ketchup etc wishes. Would definitely gi there again. Very reasonable prices too.

Absolutely. THE. BEST. STEAKS. IN. THE. BUSINESS. Love the workers, very friendly.
UPDATE: under new management the price went sky high. The food portions were small and the taste was under par. Too bad. Will not be returning.
The atmosphere is totally relaxed with a great vibe. Customer service was EXCELLENT and the food is perfectly seasoned and AMAZING. Guests should definitely try the Vicksburger (generous beef patty sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches).

Awesome! We stopped here on the way back to Houston. And was by far the best place we ate at. The mountain of food, the homemade fries were killer. And a shout out to the couple working there for seeing us even after the lunch hour rush. I would most definitely come back.

We stopped off of I 20 to find a local place with good reviews. When we pulled up it was the biggest dump of a restaurant I’ve ever seen and it’s very much a dump on the inside too. There is something of a buffet (not a fan) and we would have walked out but the waitress told us there was a menu. We ordered hamburger, shrimp po’boy and onion rings. It came with a fountain drink. The sandwiches and onion rings were very good. My fountain coke was a little off-maybe too much syrup. But it is just a dive bar that sells food. I wouldn’t go back, just too dumpy for me. The bathroom was scary too.

The food was exceptional. We got fried okra, cheese sticks, a double cheeseburger with fries, and a hamburger with fried okra. It was all absolutely delicious. We also had sweet tea which was excellent. Our waitress, Amber, did an exceptional job. She was very lovely and made us feel welcome!!! Will definitely be back!!!
