Toney's Grill and Seafood Market

OMG! We got so lucky finding this place. Stopped on the way back home in Fayetteville from Baton Rouge. I'm a native New Orleanian and have had my share of poboys good and awful. Mon Cheris I am telling you right now, theirs have to be one of the best we've ever had. I got shrimp and my husband got oyster- sandwiches each a foot long with so much seafood they were falling out. Based on this experience alone on a 1 to 10 scale my husband and I both give it a 12! No regrets!

Working in the area and I stopped in for solo dinner. Wow. What a treat! Enter and you are greeted by that authentic seafood restaurant smell. I was transported to my childhood in New Orleans. I was short on time and just got a burger and a cocktail. Served on paper in a wooden box the burger and fries was exactly as i ordered it and delicious. The cocktail was perfectly made and I enjoyed every drop.

Great place to eat

The boiled shrimp is spectacular. Just the right amount of heat and the most juiciest shrimp makes for a great dinner along with an ice cold beer! We had their bread pudding to-go and it made for a delicious snack around the fire with friends.

Price will crush you! I believe this can be mitigated by reducing the portions.
Music was way too loud, made it difficult to have a conversation.

Was really looking forward to this place, but it was disappointing. Place wasn’t busy and the service personnel was average at best. Place was cute. Fries came out luke warm at best. Seafood platter was just average. Not worth going out of your way to eat here.

The food is good and a little pricey.

Great boudin balls, seafood platter was good, stuffed crab had bell peppers which isn’t to my liking, but the fried catfish is what I came here for & it’s fabulous along with all the other fried food. Always our go-to place when we travel through Vicksburg!

My husband and I shared a grilled red snapper po boy and french fries. It was delicious who ever the cook is, definitely knows what they are doing! We were both stuffed and happy!

Nice place and nice employees but absolutely the blandest crawfish I've ever eaten. Barely seasoned at all and were already cold when served.

Two different times, two different employees, only been twice. One employee promised there was cocktail sauce and the other employee charged me extra. I let it slide. But now I get home and 1/2 my bag of crawfish was missing tails?!? I been alone the whole time. K. Nope not in the garbage can. No tails there! Yap

I guess we have dined at Toney's at least 100 times just since the Tony Town sign was put up.
Have never had a bad experience. My past reviews would represent that.

Whomever the waitress was during the time slot of 630 to 8, not only dropped the ball, she lied to me.
Due to her ignoring our needs I offer this complaint.
There were only 5 guests in front of house. Our beverages were delivered, and as we tried to place our order, the waitress just took off.
Our food was delivered in a timely manner. Yet from that time on, the waitress never once checked back as to our needs. For if she had, the restaurant would have sold at least 2 more Margaritas for the table and an order to go. A loss to the house of 50 or so bucks.
We had to request or check, and when I questioned as to why we were never checked back on, the waitress said she did. This was a lie and I DO NOT LET A LIE GO EXCUSED.
You lie to me, not only am I not going to leave a tip, I am going to report the lie.
Will we go back, yes definitely, unless the same waitress is the only one on staff. Which we will promptly walk out

Shrimp Po' Boy was delicious, especially with the comeback (remoulade) sauce.
