Food was good but when we arrived at 6:30am door was locked and they told us to wait five minutes which we didn’t mind. Being that 6:30 is a normal breakfast time the crowd built up pretty fast outside. we were the first people to walk in. We sat at the counter, but for some reason our order got taken last and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food.
Typical Waffle House. It was close to our hotel so we walked. Wasn’t busy. Staff was friendly and food came in good time. However, this restaurant was filthy. Like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Crumbs and sticky substances all over the tables and chairs.
We got into town later than expected, around 8 so we hit waffle house because we know they're 24 hours. We got there around 20 minutes before shift change so we had to wait until that was done to order they said. It was FREEZING so the extended wait when I was tired sucked but the food was good and the new waitress who came on shift was very friendly.
