The food was awesome and the service was attentive and kind, they did amazing.
The only nuisance I had was the music was too loud, I’m hearing impaired and it was still so loud I couldn’t talk amongst my table. I dunno if it was a one time thing, or the speaker location being right over the tables instead of in an area to create ambience background music…. Went with Momma and Daddy to Charlie’s U-Pick. Then stopped on a whim to eat lunch at the Whistle The Whistle Stop Cafe. I had the fried catfish, Momma had the red beans and rice and Daddy had the fried pork chop. Everything was delicious.
I will NEVER be back to Whistle Stop Cafe after tonight!!! I drove twenty miles to eat there with in and hour of closing. I get there and while I’m walking up to the door a man that works there was out side smoking and told me the restaurant was closed. I go back to my car and look through the window to see a resturant that is clearly NOT closed. If I were the the owner of this resturant and I found out about this incident I would fire that employee on the spot!!! Absolutely...read full review
