I went 3 different days at lunch while visiting Yazoo City. The plate lunches are excellent I’ve not had anything there that I did not like. This is a hidden gem downtown.

I got country fried steak and it was mystery meat right off the Sysco food truck. I haven’t had this since high school. I hope I don’t ever have it again. The waitress told me it was her favorite. The banana pudding was boxed vanilla pudding with some overripe bananas and cheap wafers on top. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

They were open. Meal was decent, although a little overcooked on the underside of the chicken. Service was on the slow side, but that's to be expected with the lack of wait staff (and probably kitchen staff). Better than a microwave meal or fast-food.

Fresh food, fast service and super tasty! We picked this restaurant based on the availability of fresh food that is lower in sodium due to my husband sensitivity to it. It was the perfect choice! He had the rotisserie chicken salad and I had the crab cake salad with the comeback dressing. It was so good and just the right amount for lunch! The added bonus was the beautiful downtown arrayed in bright colors! I can’t wait to come back and photograph the area. Great job, Yazoo City making your downtown relevant and vibrant! ?

I stopped here with my three kids who are all biracial on the way home from our vacation to Florida. We like to try local places along the way and when we got hungry, this is where we were and stopped here based off reviews. I wish I had read the negative ones before visiting. They were very slow to get our drink order then took a long time to even bring drinks then to take our food order. My oldest felt uncomfortable so decided to go outside since they didn’t have what she wanted on the menu. They told me all the high chairs were in use so there wasn’t one for my one year old. The chicken was good and the rest of the food was mediocre, not very well seasoned. The banana pudding had a very artificial flavor, not homemade. When we were done eating my oldest took the kids out to the car while I went to the restroom and was paying. I went to the restroom for two to three minutes max and come back to my table cleaned off and my checks in the waitress’s hand and her saying oh I thought you left. So they were slow at everything else but super quick to assume that we left without paying. So disgusting of them when I was nothing but patient and nice despite their slow service. I can only assume the reason why they thought so low of me. We will definitely not be back and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you’re white. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Even after that, I still gave a tip but wish I wouldn’t have and wish I would’ve said something. I just took the check out of her hand and took it to the register. Very disappointing.

20 minutes to get a glass of water 40 to get eggs and pancakes. That were made wrong . Terrible service rude and this is what is truckers have to deal with. I should have ate cereal in my truck
were have been stuck here since sunday. due to the ice storms. the manager Miranda has gone above n beyond to make sure everyone's tummies were filled. May not have been wat u wanted to order since diner was limited on stock . but she made sure to one had an empty stomach! God bless her soul!

Came in sit down 2 people in the kitchen no waitress I sit down was not even acknowledged that I was even there me another customer ask if there was a waitress nothing I went to the front ask for manager back there when I get back I get mouthy girl behind the counter that her manager just jump on her for her lack of customer service because I went up front and complained so my service was slow for sure after that need more staff (the cook brought me menu and drinks )

My sister ordered the burger that had brisket on it. I ordered a burger that had candied bacon and a little spice to it. When our sweet waitress brought our meals. My sister and I wondered if there was enough on the plates. The portions looked so small. Well, let me say, it was the best burger that either of us had ever had. And, the portion was perfect. We were stuffed! I’m definitely taking my husband next time. I think he will love it.
