My mother, brother, and I stopped in at Thelma’s based on the reviews and the fact that it was on our way back to Vicksburg. So glad we did. Black eyed peas were the best I’ve ever had. Hot and ready to order and eat. This southern kitchen with delicious home cooked meat and 3’s plates is just what I needed on my way home from my Daddy’s funeral… pure comfort food. My husband had the meatloaf, turnip greens, green beans and mashed potatoes and I had the smothered pork chop with sides matching his and we both had cornbread and sweet teas.
