“Thelma’s Kitchen is definitely off the beaten path. And it is very unassuming. It was the only restaurant open in town on Sunday and it was right after church so the whole town was here. The catfish is very crispy, juicy and well seasoned. The Mac and cheese is pretty good. The collard greens were pretty good. The cornbread was a little dry and the sweet tea is perfect. The prices are reasonable and the staff are so friendly and hospitable.“
