“We had an exceptional experience at Old Works Golf Course. Karen made us feel at home and helped us navigate the driving range and 3-hole practice course. When we are in the area we will definitely be going back again, hopefully to play at least 9. All of the regulars were very kind and excited to see us there with our boys.“

Carmel's was the only place open in town when we arrived that wasn't fast food. When we came in, some of the regulars were having a small birthday celebration. It has a fantastic atmosphere. I had the chicken tender basket with onion rings, my companion had the ribeye steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the hand cut fries were PERFECT. The chicken was standard fare, but delicious nonetheless. The onion rings were probably the best I've ever had.
We spoke with the new owner (purchased in January of 2024) and he said he was a former steakhouse operator (hence the amazing steak) and that he was going to be refreshing the building over the coming winter. I'm excited to come here again next time I drive the I-90 corridor.“

“We have gone in twice for breakfast. Both times were wonderful with wonderful, warm staff. When we brought up an issue with the coffee, Sarah, our waitress addressed it. She was very friendly and attentive. It made our breakfast so enjoyable as a result. We will definitely come back. Very good experience. The food was great!“
