About Cattle Baron Supper Club

Cattle Baron Supper Club is a spacious, two-story restaurant near Glacier National Park that offers a unique dining experience with massive steaks and upscale meals, including the famous $60 rack of lamb, which is very tasty, a generous portion and supremely tender. The atmosphere reflects a classic Montana steakhouse, featuring intricate woodwork and cabin-style accents, creating a cozy and rustic vibe that matches the stunning surroundings, with a feel of a Native American log cabin. Parking is convenient and easy, making it accessible for visitors.

The restaurant can be crowded and the service may be slow during busy hours. However, the staff is friendly and attentive, with some going above and beyond to make the experience memorable; the staff are good fun and talkative and the service was great. Guests have praised the friendly service.

The food is excellent and flavorful, with standout dishes like the filet and the ribeye, which many consider the best steak they've ever had—tender, cooked perfectly with a nice smoke and char, and juicy. The quality of the local meat is hard to beat. The house bread is light and slightly sweet and warm. Some customers have also enjoyed dishes like shrimp pasta. Overall, Cattle Baron Supper Club offers a fun and memorable dining experience, great for kids and families, and is a total gem of a find for steaks.

Both service and food were excellent!

What a sorry excuse for a steak supper club. Our entree orders took more than an hour to arrive at our table from the time we ordered. Then, two of our three orders had to be sent back to the kitchen due to incorrect cooking. The orders were still incorrect the second time and the manager only offered a scoop of ice cream to “make it right”.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this establishment. The three of us who ordered a filet were served at Ribeye (at best). We were charged for the more expensive filet. Also, the so called "filet" was ordered medium, but was cooked rare to medium rare. When I was asked to have it cooked longer, the waitress acted put out. On a positive note, the salad and baked potatoe were very good.
