This campground is very conveniently located within 20 minutes of the Many Glacier entrance and was a great home base while we visited the park. The campground offers free showers, toilets, dishwashing station and laundry services. The bathrooms were cleaned every day. We have a 29' trailer and there were only a few sites that could acommodate our size (but lots of space for smaller trailers). The electrical hookups are a little janky, but functional. My husband and I were visiting Glacier on our honeymoon - we were looking for a place to eat, and found this little gem! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and even offered recommendations of local sightseeing. The food was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the patty melt and their homemade fries were delicious! Great place to stop. The dogs were sweet as can be and adorable too!
If you are looking for a HOT shower and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. The facilities are super clean and well maintained. I have been visiting the east side of GNP for over 30 years and am a bit sad that I just discovered Leaning Tree Campground.
If you are looking for remote-solitude-get in touch with your hermit self, this IS NOT your campground.

Leaning Tree Cafe and Campground is a small, remote spot that offers a convenience store and a restaurant serving good food with friendly and accommodating service. The campground features cozy cabins, RV spots, and impeccable facilities, including warm, clean, spacious bathrooms and the best showers ever. The recently updated restrooms are beautiful—clean, stylish, with lots of natural wood and sparkling fixtures. There is also a clean, comfy laundry room, a dishwashing area, and a wood-walled sauna. At night, small solar lights provide safe walking and ambiance. Visitors can enjoy the well-behaved, friendly dogs that stay close to the cafe; they belong to the campground owner and her family. The campground has a wonderful atmosphere with great service, and the staff treat guests personally, even offering blankets when someone feels cold at night. Despite its remote location, the campground is a hidden gem, especially for those exploring Glacier National Park, just 10 minutes away. The cafe is a friendly hub where everyone is helpful, and visitors often find unique items like beaded shoes at the campground office. The bathrooms, showers, sauna, and laundry are very clean, and the cafe serves great comfort food after a day of hiking. Overall, it’s a perfect place with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
