“I’ll admit, my expectations were somewhere around ground level… but Leaning Tree pleasantly surprised us! 😂 We stayed two nights and even grabbed dinner at the cafe one evening. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, and honestly, smelled better than I expected (campers, you know what I mean 😂). The showers could use a good scrub, but nothing deal-breaking.

The location is super convenient if you’re heading into Glacier National Park from the east side, especially if you’re coming down from Canada like we were. We visited the second week of October, so we expected a lot of nearby places to be closed for the season, and that’s exactly what we got.

Overall, it’s not a fancy resort, but it gets the job done! Clean facilities, a convenient location, and a place to park your camper and recharge before the next adventure. If you’re looking for a practical, well-located base near Glacier rather than a luxury campground, I’d definitely recommend giving Leaning Tree a try. 🏔🚐 Friendly staff all around.“

“Had burgers and fries at the Park Cafe this past week. The food was great and Rikki and Autumn were very fun to talk to... Seems like due to Many Glacier closures this year, they have not been as busy as normal... See you next year!!!“

“St Mary Village, I think a good option for lunch. You have to temper expectations because there are not a lot of options on that side of the entrance to the Glacier National Park. I actually like d my bison burger and salad was very good.
