It was an absolutely amazing experience!
The food was incredible from start to finish, every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared and presented.
To make it even better the service provided by our waiter Santiago was great. Everything was perfect.

“I always have a great experience at the Moonlight Tavern. I've been coming there for years when I ski Big Sky. I love the giant fireplace and large windows that make it a pleasure to dine and watch new snow fall. The wine list is very good and the food has always been solid. I had an elk steak this last time that was superb.”

“We were on vacation and needed some quick food. They were very fast considering how much we ordered. There were 6 of us, adults, teens, and littles. We ALL loved the food. We have lots of Mexican food options at home and what we got at Jalisco Taco bus was superb. There were so many options including a variety of meat. Atmosphere... It's a Taco bus. But there are tables outside that we ate at, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.”

“Great, must stop spot for delicious hot dogs w unique and yummy toppings( or plain ones like my kids eat ) . It’s a stop we all look forward to every time we come to Big sky! Ice cream is great too! All they need to add is Yoo-hoo to the menu, cause that’s the best hot dogs beverage!!”

“Went for lunch the week before Christmas. Was there to visit family working on the ranch. The lunch was lovely. We had wings, truffle fries and a salad. Really everything was yummy, served hot and crispy!

The environment is historic, very comfortable and the staff super friendly.

Haven’t mentioned the cocktails yet!! Delicious seasonal offerings.”

“Jaison and Bob are absolutely fantastic to work with! During the week of my wedding they made our group two phenomenal omakase dinners. Jaison and his team are personable, timely, and clear communicators. Everything they made us was of the highest quality. My mother in law told me that Jaison’s omakase was the best sushi she’s ever had and I absolutely agree! Thank you so much, Jaison and Bob!”

“I have been supporting Caliber Coffee since the good old days when she had a Main Street drive thru. This place roasts their own coffee, has the cutest ambiance in town, and is run by a single Mom, who is an independent business owner and works her tail off to serve our community and our military vets that live here. The support staff is kind, funny and hard working and goes above and beyond to make ya laugh and have fun while you’re there. You can even Door Dash the burritos and coffee:)”

“Cafe & Bakery may sound generic, but it does all your traditional cafe & bakery items well and so it's aptly named!Our group had juices, smoothies, croissants, and Nutella croissants. Lots of satisfaction, no complaints.If you're struggling to find it, it's on the second floor of the brown building to the left of the ticket building. The marker on Google Maps is accurate, but there's no signage outside that confirm it.”

“My well-justified criticism of the Big Sky restaurant situation notwithstanding, Big Sky has really improved the 2nd floor food court since I was last here a few years ago. Pretty good food selection for lunch and you can get your food quickly and the food is hot and good. Biggest issue is there is not enough seating during prime time, mostly due Big Sky having too few dining location options and no real on-mountain lunch (Everett's=high-end, Shedhorn too hard to get to without accidentally winding up on a black diamond). Top of Mr. K is a perfect place to build a lunch dining option--spend your money there instead of the tram to the top that is planned, Big Sky.”

“Our server was Paulina and she was excellent. Food is great. One criticism: side salad came over-stuffed in a tiny oblong bowl. There was no way to eat it without pieces (with dressing on them) falling out all over the table. Weird choice.”

“Scissorbills is my go to break spot on the hill. I dig the Montana dirtbag esque atmosphere, the lighting and the variety of tasty beverages. Legendary.”

“Friendly service, fantastic food. I had a lemon poppyseed muffin for an appetizer while I waited for my small Gaper Supreme pizza. Both were outstanding! The muffin was really lemony and the pizza crust was ideal, crispy bottom with a chewy crust. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Dinner for six. Only two diners got the same item: Double Smashburgers. Both said “best burger EVER!”. A real surprise to us were the hush puppies as an appetizer. Different than what you're thinking, believe me. Wings were meaty and delicious. Kids Mac n cheese was also good. All items were great! Very nice cocktail menu. Bartenders that knew how to make a quality drink, not the shortcut stuff (think Old Fashioned). Wine list is serviceable, but it's not a wine bar. Ashley was our server and killed it! They have a good team in place from host to runner. Vibe is laid back. Value is one of the top at Big Sky. We ate there twice in a week, so yeah, we liked it. Hope you do as well!”

“5 pm reservation time was perfect. And we were first in line at 5 so I feel we got the absolute best view table for 2. The food was great. One had ribeye and the other salmon. My salmon was overcooked , but I failed to tell the waiter that I wanted it between med rare to medium . Wedge salad blue dressing really good. Dark by time we left so perfect for viewing the lights.”

“This is our first time in Big Sky and feeling lucky to have Chet’s walking distance to our room. The Wild Mushroom pasta was sublime and the huckleberry ice cream…save room! Hubby had the Wild Game Meatloaf and it melted in his mouth! Thank you Allie took great care of us. Highly recommend Chet’s.”
