Unreasonable prices… the menu is not up-to-date online, if you order takeout clarify how much they will be charging. Very disappointing.
The food was wonderful, and the menu offered great options!

Showed up at 5:30, 30 mins after opening and put our name on the list for 6. Hostess told us it would be 1-1.5 hours, so we went across the street for a few drinks and came back. Manager came out and rudely told us that our reservation meant nothing and they’d rather seat a 15 top. Asked if we could split us up and she said no chance. She quickly cooked us before we could even ask about our reservation. Threw the trainee under the bus and took no responsibility. My disabled friend was disrespected and told to “walk”.

They opened at 5pm. We walked in at 5:30 and were let know we had an hour and a half wait, therefore we put our name down. An hour and a half went by and we walked in to ask about the reservation. Someone I assume the manager came out and 1. Threw someone under training under the bus. 2. With absolute no courtesy said there is no way we will be seating you. Even in this case , as a mature adult with manners you can be polite and acknowledge that you screwed up someone’s plans. You could have let us know when you knew that so we booked somewhere else - and no hard feelings. However the bluntness, lack of care, rude manner in letting a customer know you won’t be seating them is in my opinion unacceptable and quite frankly rude. “Call ahead next time sorry *with absolute no remorse* “ is probably one of the worst management moves I have ever seen. And to throw the trainee under the bus is pretty low. If you want to come here “call first” lmao and book another res for backup!

Was told we would be seated in 1.5 hours. Waited 1.5 hours and was told we can’t be accommodated for the whole night. Manager very rude.

Waited 2 hours for a table and got told they could not accommodate our group
We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday here. The food was amazing, the service was as awesome and we loved the atmosphere! I also thought the pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food exceeded the price point. We will definitely make this a staple for future visits to Big Sky!

Corinne was an awesome bartender. We had a no so good experience at another restaurant left and came here. The drinks were delicious then I asked her if she could recommend a sushi my husband would like based of his pickiness and she told us about an off the menu item. The sushi was so good! Im so happy we got the ODB. Thanks for turning our night around! Also I believe the restaurant is reservation only because its so packed we got very lucky to get to the bar.

Terrible service. We said we didnt want to sit at the bar so hostess asked us 3 more times if we wanted to sit at the bar. Skip it.
Terrible hostess. Sat a part of 3 with no reservation instead of us with a 9 year old instead

I wish I could have given it no stars. The worst sushi I ever had. No taste and each piece fell apart. We should have known when you had have your local guys preparing your sushi. disgusting

A great sushi spot that's punching above it's weight class. It's not the best I've ever had but for a Montana ski town it's pretty darn good. A few rolls and a couple specials along with drinks and starter left us satisfied and full. Staff did seem overworked and likely harassed by tourists who feel entitled to some special treatment when they show up with no reservation and constantly ask for changes and special accommodations.
Would come back if in the area.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent takeout order. We spent nearly $300, and from the moment we placed the order over the phone, the experience was unpleasant. The employee taking our order was speaking rudely and was overheard suggesting to another staff member that they should pretend an item was out of stock simply to avoid making it.
She also seemed reluctant to take our order for a spicy tuna roll, stating she couldn’t find the correct button on the register.
When we arrived to pick up the food, the order was already incorrect, and the same employee asked to see the handwritten list we brought with us. Unfortunately, even after getting home, we discovered the order was still wrong. On top of that, the food tasted overly fishy and did not seem fresh.
This was our second negative experience, and we will not be returning.
Host staff was not friendly. I guess they don’t like $ here. Don’t eat here it’s trash.

The staff would rather take shots at the bar with one another, then take care of their guest service is Super slow it’s very unfortunate that this is the only sushi option in Big Sky because we are left with nothing but subpar service and food. You’re better off driving to Bozeman and having a real sushi experience.
