Not a great experience. Sushi wasn’t good. The service was slow. We asked for outdoor seating. These seated us next to broken furniture and very rude, disgusting old men. Terrible experience. Don’t go if you like sushi.

The open-air space is nice in the summer, so we were comfortable.

The sushi wasn’t good for the price. I paid $19 for sushi that was worse than buffet’s. After ordering, each of us had to wait an average of 45 minutes to an hour to get our food, and more than once it was the wrong thing. I know for sure my roll has six pieces when the menu claimed eight, and I think other people in our party had the same thing happen to them. They did give me 2 extra after I pointed the issue out.

An auto 20% gratuity was added. I assume this is because we had 8 people, but it absolutely did not reflect our experience

All told, expect to pay $30 minimum for a sushi roll and a drink, both of which did not impress anyone. I recommend going somewhere else.

All I can say is WOW! We are visiting Big Sky from the east coast where we have great seafood, and this completely exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcomes we received at the front door to our last bite and everything in between, our experience was top notch. Heather, Austin and Josh took amazing care of us and made us feel right at home.
Highly recommend the hand rolls, hamachi special with ponzu and truffle, and A5 wagyu, although I’m sure everything else is spectacular. Delicious delicious food and A+ hospitality.

Make it a point to stop here if you’re in the area, or even if you aren’t. It’s worth it!
Thank you Blue Buddha for giving us such a lovely experience. :)

Wouldn’t know about the food. Sat for 1.5 hours with no service after I asked 3 times.

I want to like this place as there are no other sushi places in Big Sky. However it's impossible to get a reservation because they require you to call (no online system) and no one ever answers the phone. The food on average is just okay. The Huckleberry Mule cocktail is good though.

No one ever answers the phone to make a reservation. By far the saltiest sushi I've eve had. The truffle hamachi was great though. Service was decent.

Excellent place for sushi! Our bartender was fantastic and super attentive. We ordered several sushi rolls and were not disappointed! All the fish was fresh!

Accommodating at a very high price. I didn’t want to make any fuss over being plant based but my husband asked. Super friendly and willing to make something different. I was going to be fine with what was on the menu. What we weren’t made aware of is the cost that this would come at. Almost 4x as much as a vegetable roll on the menu was a “freestyle roll” had planned on coming back many times during our visit but after the shock and disappearance of our bartender/server when the bill came it was clear I was taken advantage of. Paid the bill and gave the appropriate tip. Make sure you know what you’re asking for.

Awesome mountain town sushi spot! Way better than we had expected, with some fun unusual treats (spicy tuna jalapeño poppers 😋) but also straight up sushi classics done well. And great friendly vibe!

Bartender Austin is terrible. Had an attitude that I wanted another drink. Forgot what we ordered. It was a full bar but as a bartender he did a terrible job managing it. Manager with orange hat wouldn’t help at all. Terrible experience

Waited for 15 minutes for a spot at the bar. Which is first come first serve. Just to seat someone in front of us.

The food was amazing! The service received from our waiter, not so much. Went as part of a bachelorette party and barely spoke to the bride. Struggled to order a second drink, offered no refills. But another server or busser did finally refill the water. Was excited to go, won’t go back.
