The new Buck's has the energy to be a great place in Big Sky...decor, stellar service and food selection. A big "however" is that the ribeye steak was almost ruined with too much salt. Even the cookie dessert was overly salted. A shame.
Thrilled that Bucks is open again. They are still working out a few kinks but making great progress. All dinners were very good. Trout dip and entree are great as was the tenderloin. Focaccia was better than the last time. Roasted root veggies were great. Waitress (Deanna) was excellent. Only issue was that one of our party ordered the lamb but was served pork. The situation was quickly corrected.
I met two friends from West Yellowstone here to catch up with each others lives and enjoy a good dinner. We're picky, expect good service and good food. We reeived BOTH last night. From the moment we walked in the door til we walked out, everyone was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed a generous calamari appetizer with a fantastic lemon aioli! The half chicken came out somewhat separated from the carcass which was great, not having to dig at the chicken. Very flavorful...
