Our initial meal was downstairs in the 'theater' area. The service was excellent.
The 2nd dinner was upstairs with mediocre service. Ambiance was better upstairs, and menus were the same, but go with the excellent service downstairs.
The pasta with Hutterite chicken was excellent & arrived nice & hot. The trout was also excellent & nicely prepared. Delicious white bean & ham soup that was very flavorful and prosciutto bruchetta also nicely prepared & delicious. Decent drinks menu.

Great service, great atmosphere. Had charred bison strip appetizer and peaches and heat drink and it was surprisingly good! Would definitely come back!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. Their old fashioned cocktail was superb! To top it off, the cheesecake was sublime.

I am not someone to write negative reviews but I feel the need to warn others to not come here if you plan to order fish. I was served the worst piece of fish I’ve ever had—not only was it clearly previously frozen and then overcooked but it tasted moldy so I literally spit it out. On the bright side, they didn’t charge me for it, so there’s that. The beet salad was pretty good, but my partner said his bison also tasted like it was previously frozen. The servers were kind but after bringing our food out, they disappeared and we had to seek them out to get attention.

The service was nice and there was no wait. The food however was not a good value. 4 of us got the large wings, 2 salads, chicken entree, bison steak entree. Each entree was $25-30. It tasted good but we all left hungry since the portions were too small. We went to get a second dinner after.

A great place. Good Food and good beers (local beers on tap). Menu is not very long, but quality and look of food are great with some meat specialities. When we were there, there was a nice band playing live music reasonably loud (anyway, it was possible to talk each other) so atmosphere was really nice.

Food was unexpectedly phenomenal. Ordered all 3 sliders, trout, chilli, both salads, bison and donuts and it was all excellent!

I was here for a wedding reception in Oct 2024. The staff were very professional and accommodating. The bar staff were creative with mixed drinks ideas. The food was simple but exceptionally made. The Bride and groom's slide show was able to be displayed on multiple screens simultaneously. I highly recommend the venue.

great service, great food, great vibes! love that you can choose whether to have more of a lively game-day feel downstairs or a quiet art deco cocktail feel upstairs. would recommend!

Delicious food, great flavors, fun atmosphere, very reasonable prices. The food quality and preparation beats anything else we had while we were in Big Sky. Our only regret is not going back and trying other things. This restaurant by far had the best food.

We came to The Waypoint for dinner during family vacation in Montana. We were super impressed with the menu! I ordered the steelhead trout and the Brazilian mule cocktail. Both were fantastic! Highly recommend The Waypoint as a go-to dinner spot in Big Sky!

This place is truly a gem. Awesome food, great service, a really nice and unique menu compared to the rest of town. We also loved when it was Mediterranean, super happy that the food continues to be excellent. A must in Big Sky!
