Canyon Creek Brewing Brewery • $
3060 Gabel Rd, Billings

“My evening spot for beers and dinner, this was a friendly and pleasant time. I had two of their "MIN PIN Pilsner" and sat in the corner with my laptop for a couple of hours. Hooray for a comfortable spot to write some Yelp reviews and relax after driving!Food truck out front and I had something vaguely Asian that was tasty.[Round number review 20800 overall - 65 in Montana - 1784 of 2023.]“

“Had the absolute best service here. The beertender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. I love the selection of brews on tap and there were so many yummy ones. I bought some off-sale to share with others who will enjoy them as well. Loved the vibes and everything there as well! Will definitely be back!!“

Angry Hank's Microbrewery Brewery • $
20 N 30th St, Billings

“So the beer here rocks! The atmosphere is cool. The service stops early and you need to go up to the bar... so that's not great. MT limits your beer at a brewery, so keep that in mind. If service had been available they would be a 5! Great beer! You'll find one you like here!“

Carter's Brewing Brewery • $
2526 Montana Ave, Billings

“Came here for a date night recently and the beer was great. Perfect atmosphere and very lively. Carter's service was great and friendly. The food is provided by a next-door company and your order on your phone -- the food was REALLY good -- but the service was meh -- it wasn't much better than bringing take-out from someplace else. The fries were a bit soggy because they were boxed up. But the burgers were amazing.“

Soft Pretzels

“Chill vibe, prompt and attentive service, and a cool atmosphere here. My hazy IPA was tasty and the food was delicious. My son, a burger snob, rated the burger "5 stars" and enjoyed his fries. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was crispy and delicious with a little kick, with refreshing slaw and delicious pickles. Don't miss the pretzel bites and melted beer cheese dip. We will definitely return next time we are in Billings!“

“Excellent brew pub in downtown Billings. I rolled in from out of town on a lazy Monday night, crowd was very light. Had the fish and chips, food service was very quick, food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Everything was hot and quite tasty. Didn't have an adult beverage due to work commitments, but the waitresses we very attentive and pleasant with great recommendations. Next time around we will try the brisket Mac and cheese. If you are staying at the Northern Hotel it is a short walk down the street. During the summer months the outdoor seating is great. Good food and drinks for reasonable prices. Give it a try.“

Beer Flight

“We arrived just at the beginning of the ‘Happy Hour’. Not crowded at all on a Wednesday afternoon. We were approached by 2 or 3 different employees of whom answered a couple of questions for us. We then ordered a glass and a flight of beer. All were exceptional, and I really don’t what I like. We then ordered the curds and pretzel nibs for appetizers. Both were a lot better than what we expected. For a meal, I had the beef stroganoff and my wife a double hamburger (she wasn’t expecting that.) with sweet potatoes. We could not eat all of it and had to take it home. There is a program for liquid beverage and store items, not food. It was a bit pricey for people our age and we probably would not get our money’s worth. So we had to pass. There is an outside patio, large doors that open for fresh air, just a very nicely laid out venue. One thing, if there were space, we’d suggest adding Harvest Host overnight parking. I’d almost seriously take advantage of that so I didn’t have to drink and drive.Plan on trying to make it there at least once a month.Parking: Plenty of parking, like most places, assuming you do not pick a busy night. Call ahead if that is a concern.“
