The atmosphere and food are wonderful, it’s the service that can be subpar. Now, I understand that is a busy rush so people tend to forget things and get stressed. I get that. But it took them about 25 minutes to get my coffee out!! The food got out faster than coffee! I had watched them make drinks for the guy in front of me and many customers behind me. I had reminded them many times that I am still waiting for my drink. It wasn’t until 11:25am that they finally got my drink out!! And it was dead by then! I would’ve been happy with them just putting it in a “to go” cup if they didn’t have any more cups available.

Workers, coffee, service everything is perfect. Only thing i can complain about %90 of the tables were occupied by people who are using laptops. More like a library vibes.
If you ever ask for a flavored or sweat coffee be prepared to hand it back to them 2 or 3 times to add more. It's happened to me so many times now that I've just stopped going there, and I used to like the place. I don't know if it's laziness or cheapness but they never add more than a tiny drop of sugar or syrup, and I ask for it extra sweet. And that's even more weird considering they charge you 75 cents for it. So if you want an iced caramel latte for example they'll charge you almost a dollar more and it will basically be plain. Unless of course you hand it back to them to add more, which you'll need to do multiple times cause again they'll just keep adding it by the drop. If someone says sweet add some freakin sugar Rockford, especially when you make them pay for it!!!!!

Ok the toast bar at Rockford?? I have been coming to Rockford for years to study and hang with friends and I just tried their new toast bar. I got the avocado and egg toast and it was soooo delicious. It has this chili crunch on top that I am now obsessed with. It was the perfect light breakfast and went especially well with their coffee of course. 10/10 is a must try!
